ON TOP OF DEVELOPMENTS

The world of reputation management is and will continue to evolve very rapidly.

Standing still is simply lagging behind. Virtus Communications has therefore consciously committed to initiatives and research, creating new knowledge for this field. This is expressed in the following initiatives, among others:

TNO – Supervising the so-called MOBS project of TNO in which the development of online herd behavior (‘slactivism’) is further investigated. This project is a cross pollination of scientific research and practical cases. The goal is to find the triggers for mass online (re)actions. The ultimate ambition is the development of a ‘serious game’ for online reputation management for crisis teams and boards of directors.

Served on the Advisory Board of the Foundation for Scientific Research on Commercial Communication at the University of Amsterdam. SWOCC is directly committed to gaining new insights and connecting science and practice. This is done through scientific research on current communication topics.

Beeckestijn Business School: guest lecturer for the course ‘Online Communication Strategy and Leadership’ of the Beeckestijn Business School. This for the modules ‘online reputation management’ and ‘crisis communication’.

We regularly share our new insights and knowledge with our clients and relations. This is done through blogs, publications and customer workshops, among other things.
